CMS upgrade: Drupal v.4
I've upgraded the cms from the CVS version to the stable version 4. Please bear with me as I get some things back in order.
Thanks to everyone on the Drupal team for a kick-ass blog app.

any chance we can use bookmarklets? (favelets?)
I keep wishing I had a handy little fave/bookmarklet to post to my 'personal blog' more easily. The blogger and MT linkies have me all spoiled.

Yes
Yes, I in January, but it has not been picked up by anyone. There is a by Julian Bond that installs on your machine and allows you to just right-click on any web page and select an option to post to a drupal blog. I tried it a while back but had trouble with it on my machine. I'll try again to see if that works. Jess also wrote a little bookmarklet that might work for us, but I had trouble trying to get it to check your login, so I might just use what he did and bypass the login part. Will get back to you on these things. -m

Taxonomy
Are you gonna use the new taxonomy stuff in Drupal 4? After all - its there mainly because of your great assistance :) And don't forget distributed vocabularies as well, we are pretty close now...

Distributed taxonomies
Kika,
I will be adding the taxonomy slowly -- gotta develop it first. I've been talking about distributed taxonomies a lot lately. Any documentation yet on how to implement them with drupal?

We'll work it out
> Any documentation yet on how to implement them with drupal?
Nope, but [drupal-devel] is the good place to discuss such matters. xmlrpc-based drupal site directory is there, there are also developments in xmlrpc translation (locale) servers, so it would be a logical step to build a similar xmlrpc-based taxonomy and let sites define themselves taxonomy "servers" (or "clients")
Another opportunity is jump into OPML banwagon, I know main devs has dealt with it, but there's still many pieces missing though.
P.S Drupal might be ass-kicker, but it lacks both in visual aestetics (no good themes) and IA (there are *serious* issues in usability, open your admin.php and you'll see what I mean ;). Improving the user (and administrator) experience is on of the major goals of next (4.1) release.

Have to agree with you there

Have to agree with you there, kika. I on how we might the admin interface more usable. I even suggested that some possible redesign ideas. Marco also suggested as an example. Hopefully I will be free of some volunteer work in the future so that I may participate in the admin interface development. -m
